I am in need of some help....

Hello friends, I'm in need of some help! 

I need 3 people to go on "kidney chain" with me. 

They are going to lower my antibodies soon and after that it will be easier to find a kidney. 

The Dr said if I can find 3 more people to go on the chain I would have a better chance. 

Please.... Help me I've been on dialysis for 6 long years.

Prayers needed....

Calling all of Melissa's friends and family! She is in need of your prayers as she went in to the hospital this morning for what should have been a simple procedure to open up the veins in her dialysis arm. When the doctor went into the arm he determined that the veins were no longer able to be used for dialysis. While she was in the operating room they put a dialysis port into the upper right area of her chest, near her collar bone. This port is like the one she had 4 years ago. Hopefully this will allow Melissa to continue dialysis at home while the search continues for an donor match. 
Melissa has an appointment at the U of M Tuesday and she also has an appointment at the Mayo Clinic near the end of April to see if they have a different opinion or path to a successful kidney transplant. Its been a very tough day on all of us. Please pray for comfort for Melissa and Maya for now and eventually a healthy kidney.

Dearest friends and family

As many of you may know I received a kidney transplant from my brother Matt Freiberg on June 6^th 1997. Although I have had 13 good healthy years, in the past year I have been informed that my kidney that my brother so graciously donated to me has failed. I am at the end of this kidney’s life and I am in need of another kidney to replace this one.

If you are willing or know someone that would be willing to be tested as a possible matching donor I am looking for someone that would be blood Type O.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word amongst your friends, family, coworkers and associates.

I have not been feeling well lately, due in part to the medication I am on, and i am on at home kidney dialysis 6 days a week.

If you know of someone willing to be tested I would be eager to talk to them to explain the process to them and answer any questions they may have.

My medical insurance will pick up all costs incurred during this procedure.
